Introducing Hueyify — a verb, and a vision

In 2014 we founded Hueyify — and the first thing we did was define it as a verb.

To hueyify: the ability to transform Internet content and display it in any way possible that aids your browsing experience. The mission was never exclusively about blindness. It was about anyone for whom the web, as built, doesn’t quite work — autism, learning differences, information overload, anyone who needs the web to be different and finds it isn’t.

The full story of how Hueyify began is at hueyify.com/our-story.

To build something that could genuinely transform any web content for any user, we knew we needed deep knowledge of what digital media actually contains — its encoding, its metadata, its structure, what it communicates and what it inadvertently reveals. That technical foundation would take years to build. This is where it starts.
